Vita Student Monthly MVP is a community-driven award where students around the country can nominate their peers for going above and beyond within gaming and esports. Today, we spoke to Sebastian from Kingston University!
September Vita Student Monthly MVP and October Nominations
The Vita Student September Monthly MVP is finally here! Sebastian "baguettegun" Gamber was nominated for rallying the Marvel Rivals communities across universities through tournaments.
Here's the full nomination:
"He has brought together universities with the Kingstons Knockdown tournament, then proceeded to assist in Bournemouth and Sunderland tournaments all while casting, coaching and recruiting for his university's freshers fair."

Sebastian would also like to give a shoutout and thanks to Kai, who was pivotal to Sebastian deciding to create Kingston Knockdown, helping with decisions along the way and helping Sebastian secure a casting opportunity at Sunderland.

Enjoy creating content? Want to support and work with NSE? Now's your chance! We're looking for students interested in a range of content, from short-form videos to longer written pieces.
NSE Content Creator Applications
We're looking for members of the NSE community who are eager to create content! This is a perfect opportunity for students to share what they love most about gaming and esports, in turn exposing NSE to more students.
Applications are open to everybody! You don't need to have thousands of followers - whether you're already making content or this is brand new to you, we'd love to hear from as many people who are interested as possible.
If you're dedicated, creative and enthusiastic to represent the NSE community, then check out the ways you can get involved:
Creating content as a brand ambassador for NSE partners -
starting with Sony INZONE
Selected students will act as brand ambassadors for partners of NSE, creating content in return for product(s) and promotion across NSE and brand channels.
We're super excited to announce an immediate opportunity with Sony INZONE! The ambassadors will receive products from Sony INZONE, including gaming headsets and branded kit, to feature within their content creation.

Short-form and Livestreams
Students will create videos, posts, livestreams and/or other forms of content surrounding specific game titles, NSE competitions, teams or live events.
This can range from live coverage of NSE games, match highlights, individual outplays or anything else that you'd like to cover!
Long-form Content
We're also looking for students interested in journalism and esports coverage. Think interviews, articles, game updates and opinion pieces covering a wide range of gaming and esports.
Whether you're interested in one of the above, or perhaps even all three, we would love to hear from you!

It’s that time of year to start thinking about university accommodation! Vita Student is running Open Day events across their buildings on Saturday 24th October, and you're invited.
Students who book to stay at Vita Student for the 27/28 academic year will get two weeks free, plus the chance to win an entire year of free rent!
